The simple steak! A round steak is a cut taken from the rear leg of the animal cut 1/2" to 1" inch thick with a flavorful bone-in. It is commonly prepared with slow moist-heat methods to tenderize the meat and maintain moisture. It can also be sliced thin, then dried or smoked at low temperature to make jerky. A grain-finished steak harvested from our beef, finished on our own farm-raised corn and forages! Comes with one large steak per package either traditional cut or tenderized.
